MATERIA to Showcase Ceramic Slabs for Furniture, Design at KBIS
MATERIA, the ABK Group division specializing in large ceramic slabs, will unveil its latest innovations for custom furnishings at KBIS 2025 in Las Vegas from 25 to 27 February. The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show is the ideal platform for showcasing the versatile opportunities provided by large-format porcelain stoneware, including MATERIA’s exceptional 1635×3230 mm slabs available in three thicknesses: 6, 12 and 20 mm.
The company notes its “technological innovation goes hand-in-hand with the functional evolution and aesthetic excellence of MATERIA slabs. Among the standout offerings are through-body marble-effect designs achieved using the exclusive FullVein3D technology, which recreates the veining of natural stone surfaces in meticulous detail and ensures perfect continuity across the entire thickness of the slabs.”
At KBIS 2025, MATERIA will also be presenting its Soft3D technology capable of creating slabs with an ultra-soft finish and low-relief effects that replicate the tactile qualities of the natural materials with exceptional precision.
Visitors to KBIS will also have a chance to explore MATERIA’s natural stone-effect surfaces, key features of its catalog created using FullBody3D technology. This system uses advanced ceramic body mixing and pressing techniques to recreate the complex structure of stone materials in exceptional detail, both on the surface and throughout the body of the slabs.
The collection is idea for customizing bathroom and kitchen spaces, as well as creating bespoke countertops, work surfaces and custom design elements, as they coordinate perfectly with floor and wall coverings to suit individual preferences.
