Form, color and technology will take center stage at the Gardenia Orchidea booth at Cersaie 2023, the premier international exhibition of ceramic tiles and bathroom furnishings to be held in Bologna from September 25-29. Visitors to Gardenia’s space at the show will be able to admire a wide range of high-performance, visually-striking products and draw inspiration from a wealth of ideas to fuel their creativity.
At its booth at Cersaie the Fiorano-based company is focusing on technology and illustrating the unique qualities of the surfaces produced using the innovative Ptech and 3Dtech systems. Ptech improves slip resistance with an R10 C coefficient while ensuring ease of cleaning; 3Dtech can be used to apply large thicknesses of different ceramic materials in alignment with the underlying pattern. The resulting surfaces are extremely realistic and aesthetically pleasing.
Another innovation concerns new-generation extra-thin ceramic materials with a thickness of just 6 mm, which have the advantages of being hard-wearing, non-deformable and simple to install as well as being environmentally sustainable. The 6 mm thick tiles have a lower environmental impact due to their reduced energy consumption and CO2 emissions during manufacture and transport. They come in a variety of sizes and can be used on both floors and walls.
At Cersaie, Gardenia is launching its new I Pigmenti porcelain tile collection, which stands out for its troweled look and earth tone-inspired plain colors and is available in two finishes, matt and gloss. Another new collection being presented at the show is called Forma, a decorative porcelain wall tile that uses 3D technology to recreate small ceramic pieces such as mosaics on a 60×120 cm tile.
The Bologna show is also an opportunity for the brand to broaden its portfolio of successful collections, which are already highly appreciated by the market. The La Marmoteca and Gardenia Slabs catalogues will be expanded with additional surface inspirations, new colors ranging from exotic to minimalist, and a variety of finishes that are sure to inspire the creativity of interior designers.
