Argenta Presents Santelmo, a New Tile Collection Inspired by the Mediterranean
The Santelmo collection by Argenta Cerámica, inspired by the Mallorcan coastline and its endless mineral hues, is a new tile series designed to capture the essence of the Mediterranean with its calm, warmth, and natural sophistication.
Drawing upon Argenta’s Artech technology, Santelmo reinterprets nature with respect and sensitivity, the company notes. The result is a ceramic that moves you with its simplicity—surfaces not only to be seen, but to be felt.
Santelmo unfolds in three variations that evokes the visual of three different types of sand: fine, medium, and coarse. Each of these versions not only differs in appearance but also introduces a unique tactile experience.
- The Fine finish presents a silky-smooth surface, with an almost ethereal quality that invites calm and serenity.
- Tropic strikes a balance between texture and uniformity, achieving a sense of naturalness that suits a wide range of architectural styles.
- Virgin conveys greater presence and character, with a visually richer surface—ideal for spaces seeking an organic aesthetic with personality.
Despite their differences, the three variants share a unifying thread: the pursuit of natural harmony. Its design is inspired by geological processes and the imperfect beauty of the natural world, proposing a subtle dialogue between material and space.
Santelmo is offered in three colors (Sand, Gold, Greige), and three porcelain formats (60x60cm, 60x120cm, 120x120cm), as well as a rectified ceramic tile option in a 40x120cm format.
