New Ravenna Celebrates 30th Year with Invitation to ‘Design with Us’
New Ravenna has opened its arms for its 30th anniversary by hosting a design competition that will turn submitted mosaic design ideas into catalog additions (winners will receive a commission on future sales of the design). “The whole world will have access to use your mosaic design in their home,” the company notes.
In October, New Ravenna will reveal its “Heritage” collection, which will take visitors on “a visual tour of our styles and themes throughout our 30 years. The collection will feature newly designed mosaics from some of our closest guest designer friends, as well as a pattern-focused collection of reimagined New Ravenna favorites.”
There are two categories in this competition: Fine Art and Pattern. One 1st place design per category will be showcased at its Heritage event and added to the New Ravenna product catalog. This is a blind judging competition. A panel of New Ravenna employees will select the winners. Runners-up will be highlighted at the event, and all submissions will be published in print form. Submissions are due by 11:59pm on Sunday, August 21, 2022.
HOW TO ENTER
Submit the following to [email protected] by August 21, 2022:
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- Intended category for submission: Fine Art or Pattern
- Your design. Fine Art submissions should fit on a 72h x 42w scale. Pattern submissions should be drawn to a 24″ x 24″ scale
- Up to 200 words describing the inspiration and functionality behind the concept
