Lea Ceramiche is launching two new collections during Cersaie 2015. During the show, Lea will also unveil a Le Corbusier-inspired architectural installation it helped collaborate with designer Diego Grandi.

Grand Pierre
The new stone effect collection from Lea Ceramiche combines modernity and tradition. Grande Pierre is characterized by a uneven grain, giving a highly natural material effect, not particularly structured but soft and pleasant to the touch. Three colors with a warm base and three sizes with natural edges, make it ideal for residential and commercial spaces with light foot traffic. The 60x60cm module is also available in a rectified version and with a grip finish for outdoor terraces, porches and balconies. A simple but transverse collection, suitable for any style and environment.

Biorecover
The Biorecover collection is a interpretation of recycled wood. A careful study to creatively interpret recycled wooden floors, interior walls and to create contemporary ceramic tiles with a vintage flavor. The wear caused by time and the traces left on the wood are recreated by the structure of the tile, the grain and color variations of the surfaces. Biorecover is available in 3 colors and 2 sizes; the long 20x180cm plank amplifies spaces and can be installed by itself or combined with the shorter 20×121.5cm module.

Day Off

Day Off is an installation designed by Diego Grandi that will be presented at Cersaie 2015 in Hall 29. This multi-brand project includes the participation of Lea Ceramiche.

Inspired by the great master of architecture Le Corbusier and his project on the French Riviera, the Cabanon, the archetype of a small weekend refuge, defined by a lifestyle based on simplicity and beauty. Day Off is a small building consisting of two separate units which intersect with each other, and are characterized by a continuous dialogue with the surrounding nature, including an outdoor relaxation area, a large pool and outdoor kitchen. The space if full of green elements that underline the constant search for well-being and fulfillment, nature and artifice.

On the wall, recalling the powerful visual effect from previous collections such as Mauk and Type 32, the new product explores new ways of cutting the Slimtech thin slab and experiments with its modularity and the numerous combinations of different sizes and materials. Slimtech also covers furniture, such as benches and tables, offering clean lines and detailed finishes, to emphasize the flexibility of the laminated stoneware. On the floor, the ceramic material has a thickness of 20mm and covers the entire surface, creating an effect of continuity between inside and outside.
